Lorraine has over three years’ consultancy experience and holds a B.Sc Degree in Environmental Science and Health from Dublin City University and a Diploma in Field Ecology from University College Cork.
After graduating with a BSc, Lorraine worked in the food manufacturing industry for a number of years as part of the Environmental Department team with the Queally Group Naas. She was involved in ensuring environmental compliance with the site’s Industrial Emissions Licence, which included the compilation of the relevant environmental records, the design and delivery of an environmental training programme across the site and analysis of wastewater from the onsite Waste Water Treatment Plant.
Lorraine moved into an environmental consultancy role with OES Consulting in 2015. In addition to the preparation of Industrial Emissions applications, Annual Environmental Returns, Environmental Audits and Odour Management Plans, Lorraine was actively involved in wind energy projects, preparing a number of Construction Environmental Management Plans and undertaking routine water quality monitoring.
Lorraine joined the Panther Environmental Solutions Ltd. team in February 2017, providing environmental support to clients in various sectors. She is currently involved in the preparation of IE/IPPC licensing applications and associated licence reports including AER/PRTR, RBME, Bund Integrity Testing, Odour Management Plans, Firewater Risk Assessments, ELRA and CRAMP reports.
Having studied for a Diploma in Field Ecology, Lorraine is also involved in the preparation of Environmental Impact Assessment Reports, Screening for Appropriate Assessment Reports and Natura Impact Statements.
